Allied’s Micro-Adjustable face grooving system is for the manufacturer’s who produce face grooves ranging from a 1" OD to a 4"OD on parts being produced on CNC machining centers. The single adjust, single cutter tool is available in three diameter ranges each with three choices of either a tapered or straight shank. Engineered with minimal replacement parts this tool offers the user virtually a maintenance free package. A standard C-1 clamp is used to securely hold the indexable cutter in place for hours of work. The double ended inserts are available in 7 standard widths in C2 and C5 carbide grades for quick delivery.
